Greta has been creating stories since she was a tot. Though she got sidetracked for a while by work in corporate America, she recently hit the books and will earn an MFA in Poetry and Childrens Literature from Vermont College of Fine Arts in December 2026.
She lives in northern California with her family. When she’s not writing you might find her baking banana bread, walking her feisty labradoodle, or practicing her deadlifts at the Y.
Some of her favorite books are: Dragon Hoops, Brown Girl Dreaming, In and Out and Back Again, Klara and the Sun, The Buddha in the Attic, Fun Home, Time Is a Mother, Indigo, Bright Dead Things, and Small Things Like These.
